Centre Block, Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park
24-June-2008
The sepals and petals have been removed from this flower. The filaments are connate at the base. The anthers are dehiscing, releasing yellow pollen grains. The style terminates in five stigmas which separate and coil backwards as the flower matures. They are still erect and unseparated in this photograph.
