Ranunculus aquatilis

White Watercrowfoot

Flower Side, Petals Removed

4.3 Miles North on Veillardville Road, West of Hudson Bay
19-July-2024

This specimen is R. aquatilis var. diffusus because all the leaves are filiform-dissected. Another variety, R. aquatilis var. aquatilis, possesses both filiform and laminar leaves but is not found in Saskatchewan. A Eurasian species R. circinatus has been reported from Alberta, but those specimens have been determined to be R. aquatilis var. diffusus.
